Voyah CEO Lu Fang: There are no winners and no future under the competition; I firmly oppose disorderly price wars

Lu Fang, CEO of Voyah, stated at the 2025 China Automotive Chongqing Forum that Chinese new energy vehicles have reached the top globally, transitioning from following to keeping pace, and then to leading. However, behind the rapid development of new energy vehicles are many new challenges: intensified homogeneous competition, the need to enhance user experience, and irrational competition brought about by industry "involution." He believes that it is essential to create positive value and break out of "involution" through high-level technological innovation. There are no winners in involution, and there is no future. He proposed three measures: adhere to the correct logic of industrial development and firmly oppose disorderly price wars; promote industry development through reasonable competition to create positive value for users and society; and achieve win-win and sustainable development across the entire value chain through technological innovation
