When you are building a shortcut, you can choose a local or cloud-based model to power AI features like summarization.</li> <li><strong>New gesture for bookmarking in Safari.</strong> In the new Safari update, you can double-tap on the three-dot menu to bookmark the page you are on.</li> <li><strong>The screenshot menu has a new layout</strong>. You can ask questions about a screenshot thanks to visual intelligence. Now there is a day and a week view on one screen. For instance, when I shared a recipe from a site, the Reminder app suggested ingredients. Plus, you can use the action button or a shortcut from Control Center to create a new reminder. </li> <li>You can swipe on a phone call entry from the Phone app to create a reminder for a call back. </li> <li>Messages app now lets you select partial app text from a specific message. </li> </ul> <h2 id="h-apple-music">Apple Music</h2> <ul> <li>Apple Music on iOS 26 lets you create <strong>folders for playlists</strong>.</li> <li>You can now <strong>choose crossfade or automix</strong> (automatic song transition based on song tempo) as the song transition effect in Settings</li> <li>There is also a <strong>new album animation style</strong> for the Lock Screen.</li> </ul> <h2 id="h-camera">Camera</h2> <ul> <li>If your <strong>camera lens is dirty, iOS 26 will nudge you to clean it</strong>.
