YAN TAT GROUP's subsidiary has entered into a construction agreement worth nearly 2.9 million USD with a contractor

YAN TAT GROUP (01480.HK) announced that its non-wholly-owned subsidiary DMI has entered into a construction agreement with contractor Jialai Group Co., Ltd., under which the contractor has agreed to provide DMI with electromechanical engineering and interior installation services, at a total cost of approximately USD 2.8953 million. The completion of the construction project will help the group establish a stable and efficient supply chain system, promote the long-term development of the group's manufacturing business, and further consolidate the group's market position in the ASEAN region.

The contractor will be responsible for the purification system and cleanroom electromechanical and indoor installation works for DMI's workshop located on a plot of land in Malaysia. The scope of the project includes, but is not limited to, the installation of water supply and drainage, HVAC, electricity, fire protection, and other auxiliary systems. The total floor area of the project is approximately 5,300 square meters, and the project is expected to be completed on or before July 31 of this year.

The site is a piece of freehold industrial land located at PT5755 – 2, Jalan Sungai Chua, Kawasan Perusahaan Bukit Angkat, 43000 Kajang, Selangor, Malaysia, with an area of 19,823 square meters
