Several major food companies in the United States have launched a timeline for phasing out artificial food colorings

On June 30th, Nestlé USA and Conagra Brands pledged to stop using FD&C synthetic dyes in the coming years. Previously, companies like General Mills and Kraft Heinz also announced similar plans. U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services Xavier Becerra praised the decision of food companies to eliminate synthetic dyes and called on other businesses to follow suit
