According to the Zhitong Finance APP, Bank of America released its top ten investment picks for the third quarter on Tuesday, which includes eight recommended buy stocks and two suggested short targets.
The buy list includes: Cisco (CSCO.US), Boeing (BA.US), cloud computing platform Datadog (DDOG.US), credit scoring company Fair Isaac (FICO.US), regional bank KeyCorp (KEY.US), Levi's (LEVI.US), medical device manufacturer Medtronic (MDT.US), and Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD.US). The short targets are food giant Conagra (CAG.US) and telehealth company Hims &amp; Hers Health (HIMS.US). Bank of America has given a &#34;buy&#34; rating to the recommended buy stocks and a &#34;underperform&#34; rating to the short targets.
In a report to clients, the bank noted: &#34;As we enter the second half of 2025, our economics and rates team has updated its outlook. The economists maintain their expectation that the Federal Reserve will remain on hold in 2025 and will only implement a 100 basis point rate cut in 2026.&#34; Analysts added that inflation may rebound in the second half of the year due to tariff policies, making it difficult for the Federal Reserve to initiate rate cuts before seeing &#34;sustained declines&#34; in inflation.
The report also emphasized: &#34;Although the labor market may face pressures from immigration policy restrictions and trade uncertainties, overall resilience remains.&#34;
