Li Bin talks about long-life batteries: Nio's goal is 15 years of unlimited mileage with 85% battery health availability
On the morning of July 6th, renowned financial writer and ET9 owner Wu Xiaobo led nearly a hundred entrepreneurs to visit Nio's advanced manufacturing New Bridge No. 2 factory in Hefei. Nio's founder, chairman, and CEO Li Bin stated that Nio is focusing on the research and development of long-life batteries, as well as operations, implementing longevity strategies based on battery status. Li Bin mentioned that cars are expected to last for over a decade, while the battery life is 8 years. What happens after 8 years? Nio's goal is to ultimately achieve 15 years of unlimited mileage with 85% battery health availability
