According to a report by the Financial Times on Wednesday, NVIDIA (NVDA.US) plans to launch a new AI-based chip designed specifically for the Chinese market as early as September to increase its influence in the Chinese market.
The report indicates that the company's CEO Jensen Huang is seeking to meet with senior Chinese officials to promote mutual relations and improve the company's standing in China. It is reported that the new chip will utilize NVIDIA's RTX Pro 6000 processor but will exclude most advanced technologies.
