Meta appoints head of Threads department
Axios reported on Thursday, citing an internal memo, that Meta (META.US) has appointed its long-time executive Connor Hayes as the head of Threads.
The report stated that Hayes joined Facebook in 2011 and has held various product roles at Meta and Instagram over the past 14 years. He is one of the original team members who created the initial version when Threads was first launched in 2023
