
Liao Min attended the G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors meetings and held multiple bilateral meetings
From July 17 to 18, the G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors Meeting was held for the third time this year in Durban, South Africa, the chair country of the G20. Vice Minister of Finance Liao Min attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Liao Min stated that all parties should respect the laws of economic development, uphold multilateralism and free trade, embrace inclusive economic globalization, promote a more stable complex global economic system, and support the recovery and growth of the global economy. Liao Min also introduced the steady progress of China's economy, which brings stability to global economic growth. He emphasized that China's internal and external balance is good, with the proportion of domestic consumer goods in GDP continuously rising, and the trade surplus in the current account is around 2%, which is internationally recognized as a balanced level. In the second half of this year, more proactive fiscal policies will be implemented, and high-level opening-up will be expanded
