"Profit Alert" FUFENG GROUP's gross profit increases, potentially earning an additional 700 million RMB in six months

FUFENG GROUP (00546.HK) issued a profit warning, expecting a net profit increase of approximately RMB 700 million for the six months ending in June compared to RMB 1.04 billion in the same period of 2024. This is mainly due to an increase in sales of several key products and a decrease in the cost of major raw materials, leading to an increase in gross profit; and a compensation of RMB 233 million received in March from Xinjiang Meihua and Meihua Biotechnology
