IMAX CHINA rose over 7%, earning nearly 90% more in the first half of the year

IMAX CHINA (01970.HK) opened 6.3% higher this morning (25th) at HKD 8.92, reaching a high of HKD 9.04. It is currently trading at HKD 9, up 7.27%, with trading volume increasing sharply to 941,100 shares, involving HKD 8.458 million.

The group reported revenue of USD 57.802 million for the first half of the year ending in June, an increase of 31.7% year-on-year. It recorded a net profit of USD 23.893 million, a growth of 88.9%, with earnings per share of 7 cents. No dividend is declared
