
Kep Infra Tr turned a profit in the first half of the year, distributing a dividend of 1.97 cents per unit

Keppel Infrastructure Trust achieved a profit of SGD 57.37 million in the first half of the fiscal year 2025, reversing the previous year's loss of SGD 28.01 million. The distribution per unit increased by 1% year-on-year to 1.97 cents, with distributable income growing by 31.2% year-on-year to SGD 101.941 million, and revenue increasing by 11.5% year-on-year to SGD 1.11811 billion. The trust also plans to generate SGD 300 million in revenue by selling part of its stake in Ventura and divesting from the Philippine Coastal Storage and Pipeline Company
Liang Zhichao said: "To further promote the recovery of strategic capital, the trust announced in June the sale of part of its equity in Ventura to enhance the value obtained since the acquisition. This divestment plan is expected to be completed in the third quarter of this year. Along with the divestment from the Philippine Coastal Storage and Pipeline Company in March, the two transactions are expected to generate a profit of 300 million yuan. We will be able to redeploy this profit into growth industries with favorable factors."
Keppel Infrastructure Trust closed down 1.12% to SGD 0.44 on Tuesday.
At the online earnings briefing held on the same day, Keppel Infrastructure Trust Management President Liang Zhichao stated that the distributable income growth was contributed by City Energy, IXOM, Ventura, and the strategic divestment from the Philippine Coastal Storage and Pipeline Company.
In addition, the trust turned a loss into a profit in the first half of the fiscal year, from a loss of 28.01 million yuan in the previous fiscal year to a profit of 57.37 million yuan. Revenue increased by 11.5% year-on-year to 1.11811 billion yuan.
