The pan-European Stoxx 600 index rises, Koninklijke Philips N.V. shares soar 10% due to strong performance
Market attention is on corporate performance, and European stock markets were positive on Tuesday. The pan-European Stoxx 600 index rose by 0.5%. Koninklijke Philips N.V. raised its earnings guidance for the current fiscal year, with the stock rising nearly 10%.
The German DAX index rose by 262 points or 1.1%, closing at 24,233 points. The French CAC 40 index rose by 66 points or 0.9%, closing at 7,867 points. The UK FTSE 100 index rose by 67 points or 0.7%, closing at 9,148 points
