GHPC: Continues to sign concrete supply contracts for the Kunming Changshui International Airport renovation and expansion project
Yunnan Construction Investment Concrete announced the continuous signing of concrete supply contracts for the expansion and reconstruction project of Kunming Changshui International Airport, with a contract amount of approximately 283 million yuan, involving a demand for 1.6821 million cubic meters of concrete. This project is an important infrastructure construction in Yunnan Province, aimed at enhancing the airport's international aviation hub function, with an expected passenger throughput of 95 million by 2030 and a total investment of 64.07 billion yuan
According to the Zhitong Finance APP, Yunnan Construction Investment Concrete (01847) announced that the group continues to sign concrete supply contracts for the expansion and renovation project of Kunming Changshui International Airport. As of the date of this announcement, the group has signed centralized concrete supply contracts related to this project amounting to approximately RMB 283 million, involving a concrete demand of about 1.6821 million cubic meters. The specific projects involved mainly include the T2 terminal project (south section, north section), the ground road and comprehensive utility tunnel project in the airport's northern work area, among others. In addition, relevant contracts will be signed in a timely manner according to the subsequent needs of this project.
The expansion and renovation project of Kunming Changshui International Airport is a major infrastructure project implemented by Yunnan Province to accelerate the construction of a radiation center and international aviation hub facing South Asia and Southeast Asia, actively serving and integrating into the "Belt and Road" initiative and the development of the Yangtze River Economic Belt. According to publicly available information from the Yunnan Provincial Development and Reform Commission, Kunming Municipal Transportation Bureau, and other sources, its design target year is 2030, with a forecasted passenger throughput of 95 million, cargo and mail throughput of 1 million tons, and aircraft takeoffs and landings of 633,000 times. The total estimated investment for the airport project is RMB 64.07 billion
