The influence of apps as super entry points has deeply penetrated the fabric of daily life. In the AI era, the way people use apps and tools is also changing. The Paper has compiled various mainstream AI app rankings, app traffic, user evaluations, and other dimensions to select the top 100 global AI apps to watch in 2025. Most of these apps come from leading technology companies and major internet firms both domestically and internationally. In addition, some startup AI companies have introduced new AI product experiences, especially AI Agent products. According to Tianyancha, the companies behind the top 100 global AI applications are mainly from Chinese enterprises. AI applications developed by domestic companies account for 71%, among which 15 are overseas AI applications, such as Manus and Dify. In terms of product types, they cover a wide range of application scenarios including content creation, office work, and search research, constructing a vast product landscape. Among the listed AI apps, 8% are primarily service-oriented products for enterprises, such as Volcano Ark. The driving forces behind the top 100 global AI apps mainly come from Silicon Valley tech giants and domestic internet firms. The total number of AI apps owned by the four major internet firms—ByteDance, Alibaba, Tencent, and Baidu—accounts for nearly 1/4, with ByteDance leading with 12 proprietary AI apps. The "favored" products of these major firms are closely related to their own businesses, such as the AI apps focused on video generation, namely Dream and K, which come from two leading domestic short video platforms, ByteDance and Kuaishou, both of which are regarded as strong competitors in the domestic multimodal large model landscape
