On July 31, the Financial Times 100 Index of the London Stock Exchange closed at 9,132.81 points, down 4.13 points from the previous trading day, a decrease of 0.05%. All three major European stock indices fell on that day. In terms of individual stocks, financial stocks led the gains in the London stock market, with the top five gainers being: St. James's Place, a financial investment company, up 11.89%; Enodo, a commercial services company, up 9.49%; Rolls-Royce Holdings, up 8.50%; Rightmove, a UK real estate sales network company, up 2.79%; and Prudential USD, an insurance and financial investment company, up 2.73%
