
Leavitt: Trump sent a letter today to 17 pharmaceutical company CEOs regarding drug prices
White House Press Secretary Caroline Levitt stated that President Trump today issued letters to the CEOs of 17 pharmaceutical companies, urging them to cooperate with him in implementing his Most Favored Nation drug pricing executive order and to lower drug prices. Among the companies that received the letter is Eli Lilly. Trump urged the companies to take the following actions within the next 60 days: expand Most Favored Nation pricing to Medicaid, ensure that newly launched drugs implement Most Favored Nation pricing, return increased revenue from overseas to American patients and taxpayers, and directly procure at Most Favored Nation pricing
