Ford (F.US) announced on Friday that driven by the continued growth in demand for trucks and SUVs, Ford's U.S. vehicle sales in July increased by 9.3% year-on-year to 189,313 units, with the best-selling F-Series trucks seeing a 6.6% increase in sales to 73,538 units.
Ford stated that discount programs and plans offering zero down payment, 48 months of zero interest, and no payments for the first 90 days on most vehicles helped the company gain some market share
