HAIDILAO responds to "changing to a semi-self-service model, prices of dishes not decreasing": untrue
Recently, a netizen posted on social media claiming that HAIDILAO will change to a semi-self-service model. According to the netizen, "There will be no service in the future, only a few waiters in each store responsible for ordering and checkout, and the prices of dishes will not decrease." This post sparked heated discussions, with some commenters stating, "The core of HAIDILAO is its service, which is tantamount to cutting off its own foundation." Other netizens shared their recent dining experiences, mentioning that they went to HAIDILAO for manicure services and noticeably felt a decline in service detail compared to before. On August 6, HAIDILAO customer service staff responded to the rumors, stating that "the claim that HAIDILAO will change to a semi-self-service model is false." Regarding the reported decline in service quality, the staff member said that consumers can call the customer service hotline, providing the city, store information, and order number, and a specialist will verify and handle the issue. Additionally, the staff member clearly stated that there is currently no notification regarding any related changes at HAIDILAO, and stores will still be equipped with dedicated service personnel, with no changes in service quality
