
HKEX: A total of 53 new listed companies in the first seven months, with a market capitalization of 44.9 trillion yuan at the end of July
Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing (HKEX) announced that in the first seven months of this year, there were 53 new listed companies, an increase of 33% compared to the same period last year, including 1 company that transferred from GEM to the main board and 1 special purpose acquisition company merger transaction.
The amount raised from new listings in the first seven months of this year was HKD 127.9 billion, an increase of over 6.1 times year-on-year, with the total market fundraising amount reaching HKD 331.8 billion, nearly tripling.
As of the end of July, the market capitalization of the Hong Kong securities market was HKD 44.9 trillion, an increase of 44% year-on-year. The average daily trading amount in July was HKD 262.9 billion, an increase of nearly 1.7 times year-on-year. The average daily trading amount in the first seven months of this year was HKD 243.7 billion, an increase of over 1.2 times year-on-year.
