On August 8, 2025, the World Robot Conference (WRC) grandly opened in Beijing. Hesai Technology showcased its new lidar products, including the mini ultra-hemispherical 3D lidar JT series designed specifically for robots and the next-generation pure solid-state lidar FTX. It was introduced that the JT series is based on Hesai's fourth-generation self-developed chip architecture, claiming to provide a 360° x 189° ultra-hemispherical field of view, compact design for discreet installation, and supports 256-line resolution. Less than five months after its release, 100,000 units have been delivered for applications in service robots, cleaning robots, and other scenarios. (Sina Technology)
