Chen Liwu stated that Intel is working with the White House to address the situation and supports the president's efforts to "advance America's national and economic security." The previous day, Wall Street Journal mentioned that Trump posted on social media, demanding Chen Liwu to resign as CEO immediately, claiming he has "significant conflicts of interest." Political Scrutiny Pressure At the same time as Trump's post, Republican Senator Tom Cotton sent a letter questioning Chen Liwu to Intel, asking whether it would pose a threat to U.S. national security.
