The core CPI for July increased by 3.1% year-on-year, accelerating from June's growth rate of 2.9% and the expected growth rate of 3.0%. The core CPI rose by 0.3% month-on-month, marking the highest growth rate in six months, but still aligned with Wall Street expectations
