On August 13th, according to news from ABB China, the ArcelorMittal new energy soft magnetic material 20-roll silicon steel cold rolling mill project has been launched. This is the first project of cooperation between ABB and ArcelorMittal in China, and also ABB's first global cooperation with the machinery manufacturer Andritz on the 20-roll silicon steel project. After the project is launched, ABB will complete the delivery of equipment within 16 months and start commissioning within 20 months. In this cooperation project, ABB will provide silicon material mathematical models, Level 1 (L1) and Level 2 (L2) automation systems, medium and low voltage drives and motors, instrumentation products, as well as project design and commissioning services
