Air Canada will gradually cancel flights starting Thursday in response to the strike
Air Canada announced on Wednesday that it received a strike notice from the union representing its flight attendants, which will begin striking this Saturday, and the airline will start gradually canceling flights on Thursday.
Air Canada stated that it will gradually suspend flights during this period and warned passengers without confirmed flights not to go to the airport.
The union stated that they are negotiating in good faith, but Air Canada has refused to address some core issues, such as wage proposals and unpaid work
