Li Auto CEO Li Xiang hosted a dinner for Chenglong truck drivers, admitting that the crash test was "careless."
Li Xiang, CEO of Li Auto, released a video on social media stating that the Li Auto i8 will begin nationwide deliveries on August 20. Before the vehicles are shipped, he treated the truck drivers to a meal. During the gathering, Li Xiang toasted with the Dongfeng trucks drivers and mentioned that the (crash test) made many Dongfeng users a bit unhappy, saying, "There were some blunders but no intention to offend." While toasting with the truck drivers, Li Xiang also joked that in reality, he wouldn't "toast," as safety always comes first. (Jiemian)
