According to Zhitong Finance APP, NVIDIA (NVDA.US) disclosed on Monday that its robotics technology stack has attracted over 2 million developers. The company stated in a blog post that since the launch of the Nvidia Jetson platform in 2014, the ecosystem, composed of over 150 hardware, software, and sensor partners, has continued to expand and integrate into the developer community, helping more than 7,000 customers deploy edge AI technology across multiple industries.
The American AI giant highlighted the new generation Nvidia Jetson Thor platform, which is designed for physical AI and humanoid robots, compatible with mainstream AI frameworks and generative AI models, and synergizes with NVIDIA's full-stack software from cloud to edge. This includes: the Isaac platform for robot simulation and development, the GR00T humanoid robot foundational model, the visual AI solution Metropolis, and the real-time sensor processing tool Holoscan.
This technological upgrade underscores NVIDIA's strategic investment in the robotics field. By integrating the hardware ecosystem with the software toolchain, the company is building a comprehensive solution from development to deployment. Notably, since its launch, the Jetson series platform has evolved from a single computing module to a multidimensional system covering simulation, perception, and decision-making, and the release of the Thor platform may further strengthen its market position in industrial automation and service robots
