Koh Brothers to hold EGM for proposed disposal of freehold land in Johor
Koh Brothers Group Limited will hold an extraordinary general meeting (EGM) on 4 September 2025 to seek approval for the disposal of a 5.4-hectare freehold land in Johor, Malaysia. The land, currently vacant, will be sold for $24.8 million to AirTrunk Malaysia Three. Koh Brothers purchased the land for $19.4 million, expecting a net gain of $14.9 million from the sale. Shareholders can submit proxy forms until 1 September.
The EGM will be on 4 September.
Koh Brothers Group Limited will hold an extraordinary general meeting (EGM) on 4 September 2025 at 10:00 AM for the approval of the proposed disposal of land in Johor, Malaysia.
The proposed sale was announced on 24 February when Koh Brothers’ indirect wholly-owned subsidiary, G & W Industries, entered into a sale and purchase agreement with an unrelated third party on 21 February.
The land in discussion is a piece of freehold land measuring approximately 5.4 hectares in area. It is currently vacant and not utilised for the group’s operations.
The land will be sold for $24.8m (RM81.5m) to AirTrunk Malaysia Three, a hyperscale data centre specialist focused on building a platform that serves cloud, content, and large enterprise customers across the Asia-Pacific and Japan region.
Koh Brothers purchased the land for $19.4m (RM63.96m) and is expected to net a gain of $14.9m from the sale.
The EGM will take place at the Raffles Town Club. Shareholders may lodge their proxy forms until 1 September.
