A Boeing aircraft from the United States was delivered for export after being modified in Yichang
On August 14th, adjacent to Yichang Three Gorges International Airport, a Boeing 737-800 aircraft from the American aircraft leasing company World Star Aviation successfully cleared customs for export after completing "passenger-to-freight" maintenance at Beidike Lingyun Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Co., Ltd. This is the first overseas aircraft for "offshore bonded maintenance" in our province this year. As the only MRO enterprise in Central China capable of conducting passenger-to-freight conversion for civil aviation aircraft, Beidike Lingyun has completed maintenance on over 500 aircraft of various types since its establishment in 2016, including maintenance qualifications for the Boeing 737 and the entire Airbus A320 series. Hu Qiushi, Chairman of Beidike Lingyun, introduced that the maintenance period for this aircraft lasted nearly two years, importing over 370 maintenance materials through the bonded maintenance account, saving over 9 million yuan in taxes
