NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang highly praised Taiwan Semiconductor, stating that anyone looking to invest in the company is &#34;very smart.&#34;
During his visit to Taiwan on Friday, Huang's main purpose was to thank Taiwan Semiconductor for its work on NVIDIA's next-generation AI chip platform, Rubin. He revealed that Taiwan Semiconductor is manufacturing six new products for NVIDIA, including new central processing units and general-purpose processors for advanced computing, especially AI.
“First of all, I believe Taiwan Semiconductor is one of the greatest companies in human history, and anyone who wants to buy Taiwan Semiconductor stock is a very smart person,” he said.
This statement comes as the U.S. government signals its intention to acquire stakes in technology companies, particularly those receiving funding under the CHIPS Act. According to previous articles, the Trump administration is considering exchanging equity for funding under the CHIPS Act, involving companies like Micron, Taiwan Semiconductor, and Samsung. U.S. Secretary of Commerce Howard Lutnick confirmed in a media interview on Tuesday that the government is in talks to acquire a 10% stake in Intel and indicated that the government may consider holding stakes in other companies.
As the world's largest contract chip manufacturer, Taiwan Semiconductor's stock price has risen 15% this year.

During his visit, Jensen Huang also revealed NVIDIA's expansion plans in Taiwan—the &#34;NVIDIA Constellation&#34; project—a new office recently announced by NVIDIA to accommodate local employees. NVIDIA is still working with the government to resolve some issues in order to begin construction on the project.
“Our supply chain is very busy here,” Jensen Huang stated. He noted that NVIDIA is collaborating with chip companies, system suppliers, and system manufacturers across Taiwan, requiring a large number of engineers to work alongside them
