STARJOY W&T issued a profit warning, expecting that the interim profit attributable to shareholders for the six months ending June 30, 2025, will decline to no less than HKD 23 million, a significant decrease from HKD 81.6 million for the same period in 2024. The board pointed out that the reasons for the decline include adjustments in business strategy to cope with the real estate market and economic downturn, exit from high-risk projects, and impairment losses on goodwill of subsidiaries. In addition, the company will increase resource investment to improve property service quality, and it is expected that performance will stabilize in the next one to two years
