The chairman of UNIVERSE ENT sold Half Mountain No. 1 in Ho Man Tin for HKD 21.5 million, earning a profit of HKD 1.811 million

According to reports, UNIVERSE ENT (01046.HK) Chairman and Executive Director Lin Xiaoming recently sold a high-level unit at 17 Hillside Drive, Ho Man Tin. The unit has a usable area of 1,137 square feet and a three-bedroom layout. The original asking price was HKD 25.5 million, which was ultimately reduced to HKD 21.5 million, with a price per square foot of HKD 18,909. This price is HKD 950,000 or 4.2% lower than HSBC's online valuation of HKD 22.45 million.

Additionally, data shows that a similar unit on the lower floors of the same building was sold for HKD 21.88 million in the middle of this month. Lin Xiaoming's selling price is HKD 380,000 or 1.7% lower than that.

It is reported that Lin Xiaoming purchased this unit for HKD 19.689 million back in 2009, holding it for about 16 years, with a paper profit of HKD 1.811 million, representing a 9.2% appreciation
