On August 25, PwC, one of the Big Four accounting firms, released the "Mid-Year Review and Outlook of China's M&A Market in 2025," pointing out that in the first half of 2025, the total disclosed transaction amount in China's M&A market exceeded USD 170 billion, a significant increase of 45% compared to the same period last year, with the number of transactions continuing the steady recovery trend of the past two and a half years. PwC stated that in the first half of this year, domestic strategic investors' M&A activities significantly strengthened, particularly noteworthy is that there were a total of 20 mega M&A transactions with amounts exceeding USD 1 billion, far surpassing the same period last year. From an industry distribution perspective, high technology, especially semiconductors, big health, and industrial sectors have become the main tracks for mega M&A
