
Trump says he doesn't mind renegotiating the US-South Korea trade agreement

During a meeting with South Korean President Lee Jae-myung, Trump expressed a willingness to renegotiate the U.S.-South Korea trade agreement and consider ordering ships from South Korea. Under the existing agreement, South Korea will provide $350 billion to the United States for investment projects covering shipbuilding, semiconductors, and other fields. Lee Jae-myung mentioned that this funding will support South Korean companies entering the U.S. market, with $150 billion specifically allocated for U.S.-South Korea shipbuilding cooperation. Additionally, Trump also mentioned reaching an agreement with South Korea on the Alaska oil issue
