Galaxy Entertainment Group and Tencent Music have renewed their strategic agreement to introduce special concerts, music festivals, and co-created performance IP

According to the Macao Daily News, the press release from Galaxy Macau's Galaxy Entertainment Group indicates that the strategic cooperation agreement with TMElive Tencent Music Super Live will be renewed for three years. The agreement will leverage each party's resource and platform advantages to support the high-quality development of Macao's cultural tourism industry while providing music lovers around the world with a diverse and exciting music entertainment experience. The updated strategic cooperation agreement will further enrich the performance options at Galaxy Macau and the Galaxy Concert Hall, broaden the sources of visitors to Macao, and help elevate the overall performance and production standards in Macao.

This continuation of the strategic cooperation includes prioritizing the hosting of the TMEA Tencent Music Entertainment Awards and TIMA International Music Awards, two major annual music events, at the Galaxy Concert Hall over the next three years; it will also introduce various types of music performances such as special concerts, music festivals, and music award ceremonies. Additionally, under the new agreement, TMElive and the Galaxy Concert Hall will co-create performance IP, and members of Tencent Music Entertainment Group (TME) music platforms will have the opportunity to enjoy exclusive ticket purchasing and viewing services for events held at the Galaxy Concert Hall, maximizing the music experience for members.

Galaxy Entertainment Group Chairman Lui Yao Dong stated that in the first half of this year alone, the Galaxy Concert Hall and the adjacent Galaxy International Convention Center have hosted approximately 190 exhibitions and performance events, welcoming thousands of guests from around the world. He expressed great pleasure in continuing the strategic agreement with TMElive Tencent Music Super Live, as both parties will continue to promote Galaxy Macau's evolution into Asia's leading entertainment hub
