MEILLEUREHEALTH announced its interim results for the period ending June 30, 2025, with a profit attributable to shareholders of HKD 15.157 million, an increase of 79.05% year-on-year. The group's revenue was HKD 17.453 million, a decrease of 41.89% year-on-year. Earnings per share were HKD 0.37. After-tax profit was approximately HKD 15.1 million, an increase of about 84.1% compared to the same period last year. The growth was mainly attributed to increased revenue and profits from property-related businesses, rising interest income, and positive effects from foreign exchange gains
According to the Zhitong Finance APP, MEILLEUREHEALTH (02327) released its interim results for the six months ending June 30, 2025, reporting revenue of HKD 17.453 million, a year-on-year decrease of 41.89%; profit attributable to owners of the company was HKD 15.157 million, a year-on-year increase of 79.05%; earnings per share were HKD 0.37.
For the six months ending June 30, 2025, the after-tax profit was approximately HKD 15 million (for the six months ending June 30, 2024: HKD 8.2 million), an increase of approximately HKD 6.9 million or about 84.1% compared to the six months ending June 30, 2024. This increase was mainly due to:
(i) The group's property-related business revenue and profit increased, primarily because rental income rose from approximately HKD 8.2 million for the six months ending June 30, 2024, to approximately HKD 10 million for the six months ending June 30, 2025, and the fair value of the investment properties held by the group did not change significantly, whereas, in comparison, the fair value of the investment properties held by the group experienced a significant decline of approximately HKD 20.4 million for the six months ending June 30, 2024;
(ii) Interest income increased from approximately HKD 8.9 million for the six months ending June 30, 2024, to approximately HKD 14.8 million for the six months ending June 30, 2025; and
(iii) Positive financial impact from foreign exchange gains, which rose from approximately HKD 4.4 million for the six months ending June 30, 2024, to approximately HKD 5.8 million for the six months ending June 30, 2025
