CHINA STAR ENT released its interim results for the period ending June 30, 2025, with revenue of HKD 257 million, an increase of 32.69% year-on-year; a loss attributable to shareholders of HKD 111 million, a decrease of 18.16% year-on-year; and a loss per share of HKD 0.0456. The revenue growth was mainly attributed to the contributions from multimedia and entertainment businesses, while the revenue from property development and investment businesses declined
According to the Zhitong Finance APP, CHINA STAR ENT (00326) announced its interim results for the six months ending June 30, 2025, reporting revenue of HKD 257 million, an increase of 32.69% year-on-year; the loss attributable to shareholders was HKD 111 million, a decrease of 18.16% year-on-year; and the loss per share was HKD 0.0456.
The announcement stated that the increase in revenue was mainly due to the multimedia and entertainment operations contributing HKD 123 million (for the six months ending June 30, 2024: HKD 13.04 million), while this was partially offset by a decline in revenue from property development and investment operations to HKD 133 million (for the six months ending June 30, 2024: HKD 179 million)
