In the first eight months, the Hong Kong Stock Exchange raised HKD 134.5 billion in IPO funds
On September 4th, the Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing (HKEX) released the monthly market overview. In the first eight months of 2025, HKEX welcomed 59 new listed companies, an increase of 37% compared to 43 companies in the same period last year; the IPO fundraising amount for Hong Kong stocks was HKD 134.5 billion, a 579% increase compared to HKD 19.8 billion in the same period last year
