VinFast launched its electric vehicle in India for the first time, priced lower than Tesla
Vietnamese automaker VinFast launched its first electric vehicles in India. The company announced on Saturday that the starting price for the cheapest compact SUV, VF6, is 1.6 million rupees. The company will also launch the mid-size SUV VF7, starting at around 2 million rupees. This is about one-third of the price of the Tesla Model Y in India. VinFast stated that the pricing announced on Saturday is indicative and limited to the first 1,500 vehicles sold or those sold before November 30, on a first-come, first-served basis
