
MTR: MTR trains and light rail maintain limited service, MTR buses suspended service
MTR (00066.HK) announced that the No. 8 Gale or Storm Signal is currently in effect. MTR trains and Light Rail will maintain limited services from the first train, while MTR buses will suspend services.
Under the No. 8 Gale or Storm Signal, MTR trains will continue to operate. However, if the weather conditions suddenly worsen, MTR outdoor section trains, Light Rail, and MTR buses may be suspended without prior notice.
The Tsuen Wan Line, Kwun Tong Line, Island Line, South Island Line, Tung Chung Line, Airport Express, and Tuen Ma Line will maintain a frequency of one train every 10 minutes; the Tseung Kwan O Line (from North Point Station to Po Lam Station) will maintain a frequency of one train every 10 minutes; the Tseung Kwan O Line (from Tiu Keng Leng Station to Hang Hau Station) will maintain a frequency of one train every 15 minutes; the East Rail Line (from Admiralty Station to Lo Wu Station) will maintain a frequency of one train every 10 minutes; the East Rail Line (from Admiralty Station to Lok Ma Chau Station) will maintain a frequency of one train every 20 minutes; the Disneyland Line will maintain a frequency of one train every 20 minutes; Light Rail will maintain a frequency of one train every 15 to 20 minutes (Lines 614 and 615 are suspended); MTR buses are suspended; the High-Speed Rail (Hong Kong section) is operating normally
