On Monday local time, according to media reports, U.S. President Trump will make a state visit to the United Kingdom next week, and NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang will accompany him.
Jensen Huang is one of several U.S. business leaders expected to join, including OpenAI CEO Sam Altman, Blackstone CEO Steven Schwarzman, and BlackRock CEO Larry Fink. Reports also indicate that Apple CEO Tim Cook has received an invitation.
These heavyweight figures are expected to attend a state banquet hosted by King Charles of the United Kingdom next week alongside Trump.
It is worth mentioning that last Thursday local time, Trump convened leaders of major U.S. tech companies for a cabinet-like dinner event at the White House. During this event, each tech leader took turns expressing gratitude and praise to Trump for his efforts to promote U.S. chip manufacturing and investment in AI. Among the attendees, Elon Musk, who had a dispute with Trump, was absent, and Jensen Huang also did not attend.
Although Jensen Huang was absent from the dinner for tech executives hosted by Trump at the White House last week, his attendance at the trip to the UK highlights the chip manufacturer's commitment to maintaining a relationship with the U.S. president.
Jensen Huang has established a close relationship with Trump and praised his commitment to U.S. manufacturing. Huang previously stated that Trump praised NVIDIA as a technology leader and expressed delight when the company's market value surpassed $4 trillion.
Earlier, Jensen Huang accompanied Trump to Saudi Arabia in May to attend an investment forum.

According to reports cited by CCTV News on Monday, August 11, NVIDIA and AMD have agreed to pay 15% of the revenue from chips specially supplied to China to the U.S. government in exchange for export licenses for related products.
