
Mercedes-Benz and Beijing Benz recall some imported and domestically produced vehicles
Mercedes-Benz Sales Co., Ltd. and Beijing Benz Automotive Co., Ltd. have recently filed a recall plan with the State Administration for Market Regulation in accordance with the "Regulations on the Recall of Defective Automotive Products" and the "Implementation Measures for the Regulations on the Recall of Defective Automotive Products."

Recall Number S2025M0137V: Effective immediately, a recall of certain imported GLC and EQE vehicles produced between October 20, 2022, and May 20, 2025, totaling 302 vehicles. Some vehicles within this recall range may have steering coupling connection bolts that were not tightened to the correct torque, leading to a gradual loosening of the mechanical connection between the steering wheel and the steering rack. In extreme cases, the vehicle may lose steering capability, posing a safety hazard. Mercedes-Benz Sales Co., Ltd. will conduct inspections for the vehicles within the recall range through authorized Mercedes-Benz dealers and will retighten the steering coupling connection bolts free of charge if necessary to eliminate safety risks.

Recall Number S2025M0138V: Starting from September 25, 2025, a recall of certain domestically produced EQB vehicles manufactured between April 11, 2022, and March 22, 2023, totaling 14 vehicles. Some vehicles within this recall range may have high-pressure battery busbar fixing bolts that were not properly tightened, leading to occasional power transmission interruptions, increasing the risk of collision, and posing a safety hazard. Beijing Benz Automotive Co., Ltd. will replace the high-pressure power batteries free of charge for the vehicles within the recall range through authorized Mercedes-Benz dealers to eliminate safety risks
