SCHOLAR EDU announced that it has granted 33.342 million stock options, of which 8.3355 million have vested and 25.0065 million remain unvested. To incentivize the grantees, the company has decided to cancel the unvested stock options on September 11, 2025, and reissue 22.228 million new stock options, subject to the grantees' consent
According to the Zhitong Finance APP, SCHOLAR EDU (01769) announced that as of the date of this announcement, a total of 33.342 million stock options (old stock options) have been granted to grantees, all of which have not yet been exercised, including 8.3355 million vested old stock options and 25.0065 million unvested old stock options. As of the date of this announcement, no old stock options have been exercised or canceled.
In consideration of the market conditions since the grant of the old stock options, and to further incentivize and retain grantees to continue contributing to the development of the company, on September 11, 2025, the company's board of directors (the Board) resolved to cancel the 25.0065 million unvested old stock options held by the grantees and to regrant them 22.228 million new stock options (new stock options) (replacement) to replace the aforementioned canceled old stock options, subject to the agreement and acceptance of each grantee
