The Bank of Montreal Capital pointed out that after the Federal Reserve starts cutting interest rates, the U.S. stock market typically rises. Since 1982, in 10 rounds of interest rate cut cycles, the S&P 500 index has achieved positive returns in 8 rounds, with an average return of 10.4% in the year following the rate cuts
