
Jiangsu Semiconductor Association: The dumping margin of American analog chips to China reaches as high as 300%
On September 13, the Ministry of Commerce announced the initiation of an anti-dumping investigation into imported related analog chips originating from the United States. According to the application documents submitted by the Jiangsu Semiconductor Industry Association, the relevant American manufacturers include four companies: Texas Instruments, ADI, Broadcom, and ON Semiconductor. Preliminary evidence submitted by the Jiangsu Semiconductor Industry Association shows that during the investigation period, the prices of the products under investigation originating from the United States have continued to decline significantly, with a dumping margin of over 300% for exports to China. The products under investigation accounted for an average market share of up to 41% in China. In terms of absolute import volume, the total import quantity of the products under investigation has shown a continuous and significant upward trend, with total import quantities of 1.159 billion, 1.299 billion, and 1.590 billion units from 2022 to 2024
