Eli Lilly will invest $5 billion to set up a new factory in Virginia

Eli Lilly (LLY.US) announced on Tuesday that it will invest $5 billion to build a manufacturing facility in Virginia to expand domestic production and hedge against potential tariffs.

The new factory, located in Goochland County, Virginia, will produce active pharmaceutical ingredients for cancer, autoimmune, and other advanced therapies
