LEGION CONSO spent a total of SGD 1.74 million to acquire container trucks

According to the Zhitong Finance APP, LEGION CONSO (02129) announced that on June 18, 2025, and September 17, 2025 (after trading hours), the buyer (the company's wholly-owned subsidiary Rejoice Container Services (Pte) Ltd) entered into (i) Sale and Purchase Agreement I to acquire Container Head I at a price of SGD 1.16 million (excluding goods and services tax); and (ii) Sale and Purchase Agreement II to acquire Container Head II at a price of SGD 580,000 (excluding goods and services tax). Currently, the group has a strong fleet consisting of 57 container heads, 492 trailers, and 23 flatbed trucks, as well as machinery including six front cranes, two Kalmars, and three forklifts. In addition, the group operates three logistics yards and three warehouses, with a total area of approximately 48,980 square meters and 32,343 square meters, respectively. These facilities provide essential outdoor storage services, which are an important part of the group's integrated logistics and transportation services. To meet the anticipated growth in service demand and enhance fleet capacity, the group has entered into these sale and purchase agreements to acquire more container heads. This investment is expected to strengthen the group's logistics infrastructure, improve service delivery capabilities, and assist in expanding long-term business. The expanded fleet will enable the group to manage larger freight volumes more flexibly, reduce reliance on third-party transportation providers, and provide reliable delivery. It will also facilitate more fleet rotation and maintenance plans, thereby minimizing downtime and optimizing asset utilization.
