CHINA OVS PPT has upgraded the smart lighting systems of 545 parking lots in mainland China

CHINA OVS PPT (02669.HK) announced that in response to the national "dual carbon" goals, its subsidiary Haibo Engineering will promote renovation projects nationwide starting from the end of 2023. The "Haibo Parking Smart Lighting Overall Solution" will be applied in residential estates in mainland China, transforming the lighting systems of parking lots into smart lighting. By June 2025, a total of 545 renovation projects are expected to be completed, with over 370,000 smart energy-saving lights installed, resulting in a cumulative electricity saving of over 39 million kilowatt-hours, equivalent to the annual electricity consumption of about 13,000 households. It is anticipated that carbon emissions will be reduced by over 21,000 tons, and electricity costs will be saved by more than 23 million yuan.

In addition, in Hong Kong, CHINA OVS PPT has also reviewed the lighting, air conditioning, water pump, and ventilation systems of certain privately managed residential and rehabilitation projects, and has initiated systematic energy-saving renovations. The focus is on a comprehensive upgrade to LED energy-saving lighting, as well as the implementation of variable frequency air conditioning system renovations, building insulation enhancements, and the installation of active filtering devices as personalized energy-saving solutions. Through the collaborative implementation of LED energy-saving renovations and other customized measures, the relevant projects can save up to 689,000 kilowatt-hours of electricity annually, significantly improving energy efficiency
