Xiaomi Auto OTA version upgrade launches parking offset assistance and anti-misstep functions, etc

Xiaomi (01810.HK) SU7 has begun to roll out, with an OTA (over-the-air) major version upgrade for the autumn. The update includes multiple advanced driving assistance features, such as the introduction of parking offset assistance and the anti-misstep feature "Misacceleration Suppression Assistance (MAI)."

Users can manually select the offset direction based on the surrounding environment status of the target parking space before activating or pausing the parking assistance feature. Additionally, when the vehicle is stationary or moving at low to medium speeds, if the driver accidentally accelerates by quickly pressing the accelerator pedal too hard, and there is a collision risk with vehicles, pedestrians, or two-wheeled vehicles in the direction of travel, the system will limit the vehicle's acceleration and provide a warning when the triggering conditions are met, thereby avoiding or mitigating collision risks.

Xiaomi Auto has also added an AI quick car-finding feature, where the Xiaomi Auto app summarizes the current parking space characteristics using a large model to help quickly locate the parking position
