
The Ministry of Commerce held a symposium on the development of the automotive aftermarket and the reform of automotive circulation consumption
On September 17th, Vice Minister of Commerce Sheng Qiuping presided over a symposium on the development of the automotive aftermarket and the reform of automotive circulation consumption. Representatives from 17 units, including local governments, enterprises, industry associations, and research institutions, attended the meeting to discuss topics such as automotive modification, RV camping, automotive events, classic cars, and automotive museums. Sheng Qiuping stated that the Ministry of Commerce implements the deployment requirements of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council's "Special Action Plan to Boost Consumption," carrying out pilot work for automotive circulation consumption reform, supporting cities with conditions to deepen reforms, actively innovate, and take the lead in trials based on local realities, thereby stimulating the vitality of automotive aftermarket consumption. In the next step, the Ministry of Commerce will work with relevant departments to promote the removal of restrictive measures in the automotive aftermarket consumption field, further unleashing the consumption potential of the automotive aftermarket. Representatives from participating departments, including the Ministry of Commerce, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the General Administration of Customs, and the General Administration of Sports, responded to the issues and suggestions raised. Representatives from participating enterprises and associations expressed their commitment to actively carry out relevant work to promote the high-quality development of the automotive aftermarket
